Pictured here 17 lb April flathead catfish
this flat took a 10 inch gizzard shad in about 5 feet of water.

Pictured here, May 2nd 11 cats total weight of 60 lbs, fished 3 spots and found fish holding on a sloping drop off from 23 feet to 50+ feet--the fish were hanging around the 30 foot mark.

Next day went straight to the structure holding the cats the day before with live shad in the bait tank
positioned the boat over the 29 foot mark
bam! fish, caught 15 bluecats total weight of 112lbs, largest fish was 14 lbs
ran out of bait about 2:30 in the afternoon and went on a bait run
1 1/2 hours of bait hunting, finally got a couple dozen
set up on the fish and nothin, not even a bite fished until 6:00pm

Wife Karen with a 34 lb flathead cat
caught may14 this cat was 38 inches long and had a girth of 28 inches
Released the fish after showing her to some friends

Caught a few stringers like these
no pictures, just stringers of lil keepers
here are the last cats caught in May
Ohio River is high, bout 8 feet over pool and swift
Caught these on shad guts in 15 feet of water
on an inside bend
The only place we could anchor the boat due to swift current

Next picture is a spoonbill caught in marcha friend and I fished a local creek with only a couple cats
after most of an unsuccessful day, we stopped at an eddie and tried our hand at snagging
We hit two spoonbills, this one and one a bit smaller.
